Mit dem Ranger 2204 lassen sich über CATx Kabel USB 2.0 Daten, mit der vollen Datenrate von 480MBits, bis zu einer Distanz von 100, übertragen. Ausgestattet mit einem 4port-Hub welcher angeschlossene Geräte mit bis zu 500mA versorgen kann, unterstützt das Gerät den Anschluss von USB-Geräten jeden Typs.
