Der Draco vario ultra DisplayPort 1.1 Extender erlaubt Nutzern den Echtzeitzugriff auf DisplayPort-Computer von einem entfernten Arbeitsplatz mit Monitor, Tastatur, Maus, Lautsprechern und anderen Peripheriegeräten. Mit dem integrierten Fraunhofer IIS Lici®-Codec wird die perfekte 4K-DisplayPort-Videoübertragung bei einer Bildrate von 30 Hz ermöglicht.

Der Draco vario ultra DisplayPort KVM-Extender ermöglicht die verlustfreie Verlängerung von hochauflösenden Bild- und Tonsignalen über die DisplayPort-Schnittstelle. Volldigitale Videosignale lassen sich in 4K-Auflösungen bis zu 4096 x 2160 (4K DCI) und 3840 x 2160 (UHD) übertragen.
Der DisplayPort-Extender unterstützt zudem alle gängigen digitalen Audiostandards ohne die Notwendigkeit zusätzlicher Audiomodule. Der Ton wird von Bildschirmen mit integrierten Lautsprechern direkt wiedergegeben. Die Kombination mit optionalen Zusatzmodulen für digitales Audio ist ebenfalls problemlos möglich. Der Draco vario ultra DisplayPort ist zudem kompatibel mit allen Draco tera KVM-Matrixswitchen.
